# Admin Dashboard/Overview

The admin dashboard (or overview) is the central hub you encounter upon entering the admin panel.
Depending on your rank, various functions are available for immediate selection.

#### The Top Bar

The top bar of the dashboard displays three key pieces of information:
1\. The current player count
2\. The health of the Laramidia systems—specifically, whether all critical background systems are running without errors
3\. The time remaining until the next restart

The Event Director is an AI-driven feature specific to Laramidia. At regular intervals, the Event Director checks the server's current player count and population, then proposes an event in the "Event Proposal" Discord channel that suits the current population/player numbers.

There are 6 types of events:

1\. **Double Daily**: When triggered, this event doubles the daily login bonuses (for both tiers) for 120 minutes.
2\. **Bounty Surge**: If a specific species is overpopulated, this event doubles the bounty on that species for a duration suggested by the AI.
3\. **Species Bonus**: This event triggers if a species hasn't been played for a long time or is very unpopular. It awards coins to players who play that species.
4\. **Unlock**: The AI can randomly propose the Unlock event, which serves as a filler. It temporarily unlocks all species currently restricted by the population system.
5\. **Skin Rush**: This event depends on the player count and significantly increases the skin drop rate.
6\. **Mutation Outbreak**: This is the only event that is NOT controlled by the AI and can only be triggered manually by someone with the necessary permissions. It causes all newly spawned dinos to have randomly generated color patterns.

Important! -> These random colors are persistent and remain after relogging or parking.
Also: If a player would receive a skin drop during a Mutation Outbreak, the system skips the Mutation Outbreak's random colors for them; otherwise, they might lose the skin or fail to unlock it.
